difficult to answer. Generally, it should be possible to play with you old savegames after a new patch. But, some fixes may affect for example buggy quests and only work, if you didn't have done the quest so far (for example the credit in the armory is set when you start the Hetman talk -> if you have already talked to him when this quest was buggy, a fix won't help you).

So, the answer is a yes and a no at the same time, sorry!
